Fall is finally in the air here in Atlanta, and in addition to taking a stroll around the neighborhood to enjoy the leaves and beautiful weather, leave time to spend a few hours indoors at our iconic attractions to enjoy these November events and programs:

Atlanta Hawks and Top Talent Fill Philips Arena

The Atlanta Hawks will matchup this month at home against the following: Nov. 3 vs. Houston Rockets, Nov. 6 vs. Boston Celtics, Nov. 15 vs. Sacramento Kings, Nov. 18 vs. Boston Celtics, Nov. 22 vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Nov. 24 vs. New York Knicks, Nov. 25 vs. Toronto Raptors and Nov. 30 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers. The November special event lineup at Philips Arena is also sure to impress, with performances by Imagine Dragons, Jim Gaffigan, Marc Anthony, WWE Monday Night Raw, Jay-Z, Lady Gage, and Dead & Company. Quite a month!

SHARKS: On Assignment with Brian Skerry at Georgia Aquarium

“SHARKS: On Assignment with Brian Skerry” is Georgia Aquarium’s newest temporary exhibit. The exhibit features large-scale images from National Geographic Explorer and award-winning photojournalist Brian Skerry. Skerry uses his camera to show the ocean’s most feared predators, and tells why this important species in our ecosystem needs to be respected and protected. The exhibition is included with General Admission. 

Children’s Museum of Atlanta Programs

Tis the season for festive fall fun! Families are invited to join Children’s Museum of Atlanta for bountiful holiday-themed events this November. From learning about the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday to honoring Veterans Day with a special discount and hands-on learning opportunities, children of all ages can come together and explore the spirited season through the Power of Play!

World of Coca-Cola Veterans Day Special Offer

World of Coca-Cola is pleased to offer an additional special in honor of Veterans Day. Now through November 12, active duty, reserve and retired members of the Armed Forces may purchase up to four World of Coca‑Cola general admission tickets at 50% off for their friends and family. Tickets may be purchased at the attraction’s ticketing windows when members present their valid Armed Forces ID.

Veterans Day at the Center for Civil and Human Rights

The Center for Civil and Human Rights is honoring our veterans with free admission on November 11, 2017 with valid Military ID or Form DD214. Family members of veterans will receive 50% off their general admission ticket. This promotion is only available for use on November 11, 2017 with valid ID.

Eclectic Lineup of Shows at The Tabernacle

The Tabernacle continues to book performances that offer something for everyone, week after week. In November, take advantage of Southern rock, indie pop, hip hop and more, with names like Tegan and Sara, Grizzly Bear, Blackberry Smoke, and Lil Uzi Vert taking the stage.

Enjoy Rivalry Week at the College Football Hall of Fame

On Saturday, November 25, the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A fan experience will host a special Tailgate Saturday Built by The Home Depot for Rivalry Day. Doors open at 9 AM and kick off with GameDay on the 36 foot HD video board.  At noon, a cash bar will open on the playing field and entertainment begins with four games featured on the video board followed by four more at 3:30 PM.  Fans are encouraged to wear their gameday gear as they tour the Hall and search for the five hidden Home Depot Gameday hard hats for special prizes. Festival of the SEAson at Georgia Aquarium

Festival of the SEAson transforms Georgia Aquarium’s plaza, galleries and exhibits into an underwater winter wonderland. Events include Holidazzle, our spectacular light and music show, appearances by Santa and SCUBA Claus, a holiday edition of our live entertainment experience, and more! The holiday season o-fish-ally begins on Nov. 18 with fun for the entire family at the annual Wake Up Santa event. We’ll need your help to wake up Santa after his long trip to Atlanta from the North Pole so we can ring in the holidays and begin Festival of the SEAson!
