Earth Day + special dance performances at the Children's Museum

Spring has officially sprung! Children’s Museum of Atlanta is celebrating the season with hands-on activities and events to allow little ones to learn through the power of play. Throughout April, families can explore healthy habits at the interactive Healthyville exhibit, rock and roll to high energy music during Toddler Jam Fridays, celebrate Earth Day by making recycled art to display in the Aluminum Aquarium, watch a special hip hop dance performance and more!

Fair Housing in 2018: 50 Years After the Civil Rights Act of 1968

Commemorate 50 years since the passing of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act) on Wednesday, April 11 at the Center for Civil and Human Rights.

SweetWater 420 Fest

A 3-day weekend festival celebrating all the heady things SweetWater is passionate about. 50+ artists perform in Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park April 20-22, including SCI, Umphrey's, Tedeschi Trucks, Sturgill, Vulfpeck, JRAD, Greensky, SOJA & many more!

Superhero Day

Celebrate Earth Day by being a superhero for the sea! Learn how you can help protect marine life through interactive activities on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Special activities will be held in the atrium from 11:30am-2:30pm and include a recycling & compost prize wheel, pot decorating craft, The Home Depot kids workshop, a photo station and Superhero Academy! Additionally, kids 12 and under who come dressed as a superhero will receive FREE admission with each paying adult from 9am-4pm. 

Workout by the Water - Yoga

Break a sweat at the most unique and inspiring fitness studio Atlanta has to offer – Georgia Aquarium! Workout by the Water offers yoga, pilates and bootcamp classes led by local fitness instructors. Classes are designed to challenge students of all experience levels. Workouts take place in our magnificent Oceans Ballroom, offering incredible views of manta rays and whale sharks guaranteed to motivate you to become a healthier, and happier, YOU! Join a yoga class offered on April 25.
